Darksouls

They live in the darkness,
They feed on our fears...
Try not to be scared,
The Darksouls are here...
They kill the fearful and dispise the couragous.
They are the reason children feared the dark throughout the ages.
Let one find you and enter your mind...
You'll find quickly that they are quite unkind.
Play with your eyes and stab at your brains,
They will force the fear into your veins...
Beware, beware... You can see them now.
Integrating from the dust on the ground...
You can hear the screams from their victims last breaths,
As they open their mouths to say, "You're next..."
As your fear increases you can see them even clearer...
Their dark, empty eyes reflecting your image like a mirror.
You're huddled in a corner, hands over your head...
They hover even closer, you know you're as good as dead...
Dead... The word runs through your head...
In a single second the scissors will cut your thread...
Do not fear the Darksouls, and they will leave...
You come up with this enigma and wish to believe...
But they are too close now, you can feel the cold touch of death.
You continue to scream until your last moment's breath...
You have become the first in the Darksouls new hour,
Their time has returned, to make people cower...
Hide your fear,
lest Darksouls find you here...
